Armony and Atlas Plan explore new forms of matter
With the project "Beyond Surfaces: The Future of Kitchen Living", presented at Bologna Fiere during Cersaie 2026, Armony and Atlas Plan showcased a new interpretation of the kitchen space, exploring the expressive possibilities of porcelain stoneware and its dialogue with contemporary furnishings.

Design meets matter
The collaboration with Atlas Plan, an Atlas Concorde Group brand specializing in large porcelain stoneware slabs, stems from the meeting of two areas of expertise: Armony's in design and Atlas Plan's in the development of ceramic surfaces.
The result is a project where the material goes beyond being a simple covering to become an integral part of the kitchen's design language: volumes, surfaces, and details create a cohesive environment, designed to evolve alongside new ways of living.
Four kitchens, four interpretations
Within the stand, four kitchen configurations showcased as many possibilities for the intersection of matter and design. From stone- and concrete-inspired textures to marble veining, Atlas Plan surfaces were interpreted through different compositions, volumes, and combinations, highlighting the design versatility of porcelain stoneware.
Four distinct proposals, united by the same idea: overcoming the traditional boundaries of the kitchen to build an increasingly fluid relationship with the living area and other spaces within the home.

New forms for matter
Among the most innovative elements presented at Cersaie, the shaping of ceramics with curved forms and rounded edges has opened up new expressive possibilities. Historically, large porcelain stoneware slabs have been crafted using geometric cuts and 45-degree edges. Overcoming this formal rigidity by molding the ceramic into curved lines represents an extraordinary technical and engineering achievement.
The result is a more fluid and organic design language, where the technical qualities of porcelain stoneware meet greater design freedom.
A new chapter for Armony
The debut at Cersaie represents a further step in the brand's evolution and an important opportunity for dialogue with international designers, professionals, and industry operators. The interest generated during the five days of the exhibition confirms the value of research that connects design, innovation, and the culture of materials, opening up new horizons for the world of Armony.
