HPL tops are made from V100 waterproof chipboard to preserve them from the humidity that is normally present in a kitchen. These tops are one of the most practical choices available for the kitchen because they are resistant to heat, scratches, wear and also thanks to their very hygienic properties that make them suitable for contact with foodstuffs.HPL is chemically inert and, thanks to its low degree of permeability, creates a barrier against possible emissions of formaldehyde deriving from the wooden support panel. The stainless steel worktops are made from 10/10 thick steel sheets that comply with the AISI 304 standards and have a V100 support in waterproof chipboard to make the tops resistant to the humidity that is normally present in a kitchen. Stainless steel is indestructible, hygienic and easy to clean but is not scratch-resistant. As time goes by its surface may become marked and this mantain the capacity of this material to gain in age while keeping its technical features unaltered. The 0,5 cm worktop is made from 5 mm thickness steel sheet.
